Alexandra Park Juniors
Anti bullying week – 5 pupils and I designed and created a wall mural to endorse wellbeing and happiness within friendships. The concept of this project was to engage and promote kindness and support with pupils throughout the school who struggled to build friendships in their year group. The girls who participated were extremely eager and excited that they were able to create a mural for the whole school to see. Mrs Barratt the previous Head teacher briefed me and the residential artist to recreate the Learning Mentor room so she could work with children in more relaxing and sensory environment and to meet with parents. The room entailed a revamp of the interior and creating a working space for the children to enjoy.

Pop art canvas in memory of Joseph. During my time at BHS the headteacher requested an art project which was to enable the gifted and talented group of children with art techniques which they had never used before. The children produced observational drawings, water colours paintings, oil pastels and screen printing onto a large canvas. Heaton Arts trail – every year within the Heatons’ local artists celebrate and showcase their work in local bar, cafes and surrounding areas. I was lucky enough to participate with BHS to facilitate and showcase the work of the children at The Hind Head pub. The concept of this project was to promote fine motor skills and show demonstrate the beauty of hands.
North Cheshire Jewish Primary School
The children at NCJP have been learning new art techniques to develop fine/gross motor skills where they have produced images of sunsets using pointillism and creating 3d flowers with tissue and felt.
North Cheshire Primary Glass Art
This technique is simple and effective. The children at NCJP used tissue paper and created their own images using tissue paper, laminating pouches and laminator as another form of art.
